The Dallas CityPASS® Tourist Card is a great way to get discounted access to some of Dallas' top attractions. Its main benefit is saving money, as you'll pay half the normal price, saving 51% of the original value.

Using this tourist pass you'll be able to see some of Dallas' top attractions at a promotional price. Besides, with this tourist card you won't have to wait in long lines at the ticket offices, since you can also book your visit time on the websites of each attraction, except for the ones you can only access by order of arrival.

Another benefit of the tourist pass is the convenience of its digital format, since they automatically send you an email to your mobile phone with a code that will allow you to enter the attractions in a quick and easy way. With the card you won't have to worry about carrying documents or having to waste time buying tickets at each place.

This card also has a long usage time so that you can use it without any inconvenience during your stay. After the first use, it is valid for 9 consecutive days, which is enough time for you to visit the 4 attractions included. And if you don't use it, it expires one year from the time you buy it.

How much does the Dallas CityPASS® cost?

The Dallas CityPASS® Tourist Card is priced at around 49 EUR, and includes a package of Dallas' best attractions. Keep in mind that this is a promotional value, as it allows you to save more than half the money you would spend if you bought each ticket separately. In other words, it offers a total saving of 51%.

If you buy the tickets separately they will cost you twice as much, as the normal price for the same attractions without the tourist pass costs more than 100 EUR. In addition, the Dallas CityPASS® offers a greater discount for children ages 3 to 12, at approximately EUR 33.

With the CityPASS® you can access attractions without waiting in long lines, as some attractions are exclusively for CityPASS® holders, and others you can reserve a time slot to get in without delay.

The CityPASS® card also offers discounts to see other attractions for an additional fee, and offers discounts to use in the shops at each of the included attractions, or for activities at the attractions.

Before you buy the Dallas CityPASS®, you should know that the Dallas CityPASS® is convenient even if you are visiting Dallas for 1 day, because you will be saving a lot of money on admission fees, unless you are not interested in seeing the attractions that are included in the Dallas CityPASS®.

It is also advisable to buy the Tourist Card if you are staying for a longer period of time, as it is valid for 9 days from the first time you use the card, and you will have enough time to visit the 4 attractions included.

On the other hand, in the case of purchasing a tourist card for a group, it is not necessary for everyone to visit the same attractions, but each person can visit the one that interests them the most.

On the other hand, it is very convenient if you are travelling with your family as it includes tickets to science museums and a lookout point that are among the best things to do in Dallas with children.

When not to buy the Dallas Sightseeing Pass

In order to take advantage of your CityPASS® card, you must have enough time in the city to visit all 4 attractions. Each attraction will take you at least an hour or so to visit each site, and the distances between them will take up some time.

If you are only visiting the city for 1 or 2 hours, it is not advisable to buy the pass, as you will not have enough time to see the sights. It's also not a good idea to buy the pass if you don't like the attractions included, so I recommend that before you buy your Dallas CityPASS®, you do some research on the attractions you can access at a discount.

On the other hand, if you are travelling with children under the age of 3, keep in mind that they generally don't pay admission to attractions, and many attractions are free for children under the age of 4, so it's not a good idea to buy a Dallas CityPASS® for them.

You don't need to tell us when you will visit each attraction when you buy the pass, you can do it later. It costs approximately 70 EUR.

Tips for getting the most out of your tourist pass in Dallas

The main thing to do is to plan your visits taking into account the opening days and times of each attraction. Some attractions are not open to the public on certain days of the week, or have extended opening hours on weekends, and can be visited later in the day.

In addition, you may want to schedule your visits to attractions with the best time of day in mind. For example, the GeO-Deck observation deck is one of the best things to do in Dallas at night, but it may be more crowded at night or on weekends.

To get the most out of your Dallas CityPASS® card and enjoy its offers and discounts at other attractions, you should check to see which attractions are available at that time.

Keep in mind that it's best to reserve your attraction times as early as possible, especially during times of high tourist demand. The advantage of booking a time slot is that you won't have to wait to get in or wait in long lines at the ticket office. The only drawback is that if you don't cancel your reservation in advance, you won't be able to reschedule your visit for another day and you will lose the option to access that attraction at a discounted rate.
