Step by Step

In this activity, you will have the opportunity to enjoy an authentic flamenco show in one of the most emblematic neighbourhoods of Seville, the Triana district . For about 1 hour, you can sit down at Tablao Pura Esencia and enjoy a drink while clapping along to the lively dance.

The tavern is an ideal place not only to watch the flamenco shows, but also to enjoy a dinner of authentic Mediterranean and Andalusian food. In addition to admiring the flamenco show, you will have the opportunity to stroll through the streets of Triana, possibly the most famous neighbourhood in Seville .

Triana is known for its picturesque houses, its market and its many restaurants serving local Andalusian food. This neighbourhood is also home to numerous flamenco venues, the famous Isabel II bridge and the Castillo de San Jorge .

Flamenco is a traditional Spanish musical genre from Andalusia, especially from the areas of Cadiz, Jerez de la Frontera and Seville. It is a genre that contains influences from the many peoples that have inhabited Andalusia over the centuries, such as the Arabs, the Castilians, the Sephardic Jews and the Gypsies.

In 2010, UNESCO declared flamenco an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, recognising the cultural value of this artistic genre.

Seville, for its part, is one of the oldest cities in Spain, dating back more than 2,000 years. The capital of Andalusia has been home to multiple peoples and cultures, and this is reflected in its extensive historic centre, the largest in Spain, and in the vast cultural heritage that the city is home to.
