Get out of Lisbon to discover some fantastic and not so well known places in Portugal: Fátima, Batalha Nazaré and Óbidos, less than two hours drive from the Portuguese capital. With this tour, you'll do it aboard an air-conditioned vehicle, with the freedom to go at your own pace at each of the stops along the way. Tour Portugal and discover some of its best kept secrets: Fátima, Batalha, Nazaré and Óbidos. And all with the comfort of arriving at each stop in an air-conditioned car, and with the freedom to explore each of these places at your own pace. The tour is conducted in groups of 15 people maximum, to ensure that participants are comfortable and the tour can run smoothly.

On this full day experience, you will visit the Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Rosary of Fatima. Despite being located in a small Portuguese town, it is one of the most important, largest and most visited Basilicas in Christendom. On the spot where the church now stands, the Virgin Mary appeared to three little shepherds in 1917. Today, millions of people flo ck here every year to visit this spectacular religious building and pray before the image of the Virgin Mary.

You will also stroll through the streets of the coastal town of Nazaré, a fishing village with an abundance of restaurants and cafés where you can sample the typical delicacies of Portuguese gastronomy. Here you will also have stunning views of the sea, if you approach its cliffs.

In Óbidos you will enjoy a stroll through an authentic medieval town. Relive the Middle Ages and visit its castle, built in the 12th century. It has now been consecrated as one of the seven wonders of Portugal, so don't hesitate to go inside its walls.

You can also see the marvellous Batalha Monastery, a religious building in the Manueline style from the 14th century. It is one of the seven wonders of Portugal, and has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1983.
