Step by Step

A night-time visit is the perfect option for those who want to see Montreal at its most enchanting. After sunset, the lights transform the city, creating a magical atmosphere. The itinerary lasts approximately 3 hours and includes a local guide. A vehicle will pick you up from your hotel and take you to visit the following places:

  • Basilique de Notre-Dame - From the outside, it looks like its French counterpart, but the interior is much more striking. It is notable for the richly decorated stained glass windows, the large organ and the blue painted ceiling. Here you will have the opportunity to admire the AURA light show.
  • Parc du Mont Royal - Large green area located at the highest point of the city. From here you have a wonderful view of the skyline. The guide will take you to the foot of its most representative monument, the Saint Joseph Oratory. The lights illuminate the Renaissance-style façade and the great dome.
  • La Grande Roue de Montréal - It stands on the banks of the Lawrence River and is the largest in Canada. As usual, the ticket entitles you to three laps.

At the bar of the Ferris wheel you can try a local speciality, the poutine. To prepare this recipe, potatoes are cut into sticks until crisp and served with cheese and gravy (made with butter, flour and chicken stock).

Nice walk through Montreal, full of unique moments and with a very good atmosphere. Although I have to say that I prefer the day tour, as I feel that I made better use of the time. Recommended to do it with someone else.

A tour that left us with great moments and anecdotes to tell. To be able to get to know a city like this at night was beautiful, and the lighting in the streets and the tour itself were incredible.
