Step by Step

Washington DC may seem like a long way from New York but it will fly by thanks to the train journey on this tour. Specifically, this one-day, approximately 16-hour tour is designed to make sure you don't have to worry about anything, starting with lunch. A 2-course meal at the Hard Rock Café with an open bar of non-alcoholic beverages is included, so you won't go hungry.

Plus, on arrival in the capital you'll board a double-decker bus with free stops. This means you can get off and get back on at as many stops as you like and spend as much time at each stop as you like.

The city of Washington DC is very large, and very historically relevant, so there are a large number of locationsto stop at along your tour. In particular, most of the buildings and monuments are related to the politics of the country.

With this in mind, here are some of the most essential stops in the city. Starting with probably the most important of them all, the White House, a global landmark and home to the President of the United States. The Capitol and Congress are also not to be missed.

On the other hand, moving on to more cultural monuments, one of the best museums you can visit is the National Air and Space Museum where you can see the suits and the command ship used in the moon landing. Not forgetting the Lincoln Memorial and the Vietnam Veterans Memorial.

Together with my sister we wanted to take a day out of our time in New York and also take the opportunity to visit Washington, if you are passing through the city taking the tour is certainly the best way to enjoy the time you will spend there.
