Step by Step

Enjoy a 1 hour and a quarter tour of the most emblematic and important streets for the LGBTQ community, which have led it to what we know today.

Thanks to the tour guide who will accompany you, you will learn all about what happened during 1969. The Stonewall Uprising marked the beginning of the struggle for LGBTQ rights. This history-changing event had many consequences, which will be explained to you by a tour guide along the tour. In addition, you will also learn all about the events leading up to the current situation.

However, you will not only walk through the streets, you will also see the most important monuments and buildings. Among them you will see some of the most important monuments and buildings:

  • The Stonewall Inn, where you will learn what happened in this inn on the 28th of June 1969.
  • The Axis Theatre Center, site of the start of the Pride Parade.
  • The Gay Liberation Memorial, where you will learn about the history of LGBTQ rights and politics in the USA.

No doubt this is a great tour of the streets and the history of the LGBTQ community that has brought us to where we are today. In addition, part of theproceeds from the tour are donated to Heritage of Pride, which plans and organises the annual Pride marches in New York City.
