Woodbury Common Opening Hours

The Woodbury Common outlet is open every day of the year with the exception of 25 December and Thanksgiving Day. Opening hours are from 9am to 9pm, but on some holidays these hours may change, so check the opening hours for the day you plan to visit the outlet in New York.

Where to eat on Woodbury Common

Woodbury Common is huge, so I recommend spending the day there and this trip to the Outlet from New York is a great way to do it. You can take advantage of the visit to eat at one of several typical American chain restaurants such as McDonald's, Starbucks, Shake Shack and Chipotle, and have a coffee or a spectacular chocolate at the luxurious Godiva Cafe.

Another option is to bring some food in your backpack from New York, in case you're going to burn your credit card in the shops!

Best day of the week to visit New York's outlets

To avoid the crowds, go during the week and early in the day. Not only will this make for a quieter day, but you'll also find more products in the shops and won't have to rush to grab the best bargains.

Best time of year to visit New York's outlets

Actually, any time of year is a good time to visit the Woodbury Common outlet, as all the shops are obviously air-conditioned. But if there's one time of year when shopping makes the most sense, it's at Christmas time, when you can shop there for all your gifts.

If you're worried about coinciding with sales periods, forget it: there are offers and discounts on all brands at any time of the year.

Alex's Traveller Tip

Try to use all the discounts included in your VIP card, to which you can add the discounts on the Woodbury Common website.

  • If you're serious about your shopping day, it might be a good idea to bring an empty suitcase to carry all your purchases and make your trip back to New York easier. Of course, there are trolleys to carry all your bags and stroll happily around Woodbury Common.
  • On the other hand, if designer clothes aren't your thing or you're only in New York for a few days, the New York outlet isn't worth the trip. You'll find plenty of shops in New York and, although not at outlet prices, you'll be able to buy something that reminds you of your trip.
  • Remember that there are also many tours where you will visit shops in New York.
  • Before you go, check out the official Woodbury Common website as you may be able to find additional discount codes for your visit.
  • Keep an eye out for shops that have outlet or factory store signs - that's where you'll find the real bargains that will make your trip worthwhile.
