March is the last month of high season in the city, and that means that this month is packed with cultural and artistic fairs such as the Dubai International Horse Fair or the Dubai Gold Festival, but if adrenaline is your thing, you can't miss exclusive and exciting plans such as the wind tunnel, a helicopter ride or a hot air balloon ride. Looks good, doesn't it?

1. Test your adrenaline at Dubai's wind tunnel

If you're keen to try skydiving but aren't quite sure about it and are keen on flying activities, start by trying out the wind tunnel in Dubai. When you book your wind tunnel experience, you'll ascend to a height of 4 metres with the help of air jets and can do as many flips and twists as you like.

The best thing about it? It's suitable for all the family and you'll also have individualised assistance from an instructor. In short, you'll think you're flying, but all in a safe and professional way. Do you dare?

If you're really looking for a true adventure in the incredible city of Dubai, you should take advantage of the clear skies and still mild temperatures of March to soar into the sky and take in **Dubai'**s spectacular cityscape, which is probably unlike any other.

Imagine seeing the city's man-made islands, luxury resorts and skyscrapers such as the Burj Khalifa from above, all set against Dubai's impressive mosques.

Without a doubt, a helicopter flight in Dubai over the skies of the capital of the United Arab Emirates is a highly recommended plan that you should not miss.

Now you have the opportunity to do so by enjoying a cruise on a megayacht while contemplating the skyline of the city with the lights of the sunset.

In addition, this great plan includes dinner, which you can choose depending on how vip you want to be and unlimited drinks. Ideal as a couple or with friends, right?

The Dubai International Horse Fair is a very important event for Dubai as it represents the equestrian sector of the United Arab Emirates. It should be understood that horses in Dubai have always been a symbol of wealth, power and freedom; hence the event is a spectacle for tourists and locals alike. However, to attend the event it is advisable to book a place on the official event website.

The event lasts 6 days and is held at the end of March at the Dubai World Trade Center. In addition, the festival not only aims to highlight the qualities of the horses owned by each company, but it is also a festival where many people will have the pleasure of seeing the racehorses up close and learn a little more about this passionate sport rooted in the culture of the United Arab Emirates.

And if riding is one of your passions, booking a sunrise camel ride is definitely a must-do during your stay in Dubai - it will be an experience!

March is definitely a great month for outdoor activities in Dubai, as the heat isn't as intense as at other times of the year. Even so, if you book a balloon flight in Dubai at sunrise I recommend that you bring some warm clothes, as the temperature can be a little cooler in the early morning.

This activity will require you to get up early, but it's definitely worth it to see the best views of the Dubai desert at sunrise and then enjoy a delicious gourmet breakfast. Can't wait for your mouth to water?

Taking a 9 or 10 hour tour in the Middle East can be a real nightmare in the hottest months of the year and the tourist season doesn't make it the best plan either. That's why March is the best month to spend a full day in Abu Dhabi.

Want to know all the details? Booking a tour to Abu Dhabi from Dubai will give you the opportunity to see the most important sights of the capital of the United Arab Emirates:

  • Qasr al Watan Palace and its gardens.
  • The Etihad Towers observation post, to which you will have access.
  • The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, which you will be able to enter.

Of course, you will be accompanied at all times by an expert driver/guide who will take you from Dubai to the highlights of Abu Dhabi and tell you all the secrets of Abu Dhabi.

The event takes place on a Saturday in the middle of the month and is attended by DJs and leading reggaeton figures, similar to a private concert. If you want to enjoy a reggaeton show in March, don't hesitate to make a reservation on the club's official website.

The weather in Dubai in March

The weather in Dubai in March is quite pleasant, although far from the spectacular weather that embraces the city in the winter months, it is ideal for pool parties, swimming on the city's beaches and nightlife. Average minimum temperatures are 25°C and usually do not exceed 36°C as the maximum temperature.

Rainfall during this month in Dubai is almost non-existent, so don't worry about the rainy season.

Is it expensive to travel to Dubai in March?

March is perhaps the best month for people who want to enjoy tolerable temperatures and interesting activities without having to pay as much money compared to other months of the year such as December in Dubai or January in Dubai.

However, if you are looking to pay less than you would in March, then you may want to look at June, July or August, although in this case you will need to be well prepared for the high temperatures.

In the case of Dubai in March, I would recommend taking spring and summer clothes, as although the average temperatures are quite pleasant, you should be prepared for the frequent and unexpected temperature peaks. Also, for your peace of mind, it's a good idea to find out more about what to wear in Dubai in certain environments to avoid embarrassment.

Are there many tourists in Dubai in March?

Compared to other high season months, this is the month when there are the fewest tourists, not to mention the fact that we are talking about Dubai, a city where there will always be tourists.

Is March the best month for swimming?

In theory the best months for swimming in Dubai are March, April and May. As you move months to your right the average maximum and minimum temperatures tend to rise, so the answer to the question will depend on your particular tastes.

For this reason, I recommend you to know more about what Dubai is like in April and what Dubai is like in May, to get a better idea before deciding which month to choose, if you have a choice.

In general, however, in March you don't go to the beach as much as in April and May. If you live in Spain or around the Mediterranean we could compare March with the end of May or June; and April and May with July and August respectively. What you can do in March is a Dubai Marina cruise; at least you'll get rid of the water and cool off in the sea breeze without getting cold.
