With large, modern buildings that contrast with the old city that reflects the pre-medieval origins of this Swiss city, Zurich is one of the best options you'll have when visiting Europe. So if you don't want to miss out on the best things to see and do in Zurich, you'd better pay attention to each of the tours I'll show you.

From leisurely tours throughout the city to full-day adventures, Zurich has a lot to see beyond shopping malls and crowded places. Plus, one of the best things about this city is its beautiful scenery and pleasant climate.

I believe that no city tour of Zurich is complete without a cruise on the lake. Nor can it be considered a good tour if you don't go to the Chocolate Factory. This tour gives you all that in one tour.

The tour of the financial centre of the city takes place by bus, just before boarding the cruise on the city's most important lake.

During the visit to the Chocolate Factory, which you can also do as part of a Zurich food tour, you will have the opportunity to taste exquisite chocolate creations, and during the tour you can also taste Swiss cheese at some of the stops you make. To further enhance the experience, you'll walk through the Zürichberg district for panoramic views of the entire city.

The duration of a tour depends on the type of transport used, the itinerary provided by your tour guide and the activities you are going to do during the day. Generally, a sightseeing tour of the city does not last more than three hours.

On the other hand, if you are going to visit specific places and also enjoy cheese, chocolate or other food tastings, it will probably last a little more than three hours. In case the tour is complete and includes entrance to interesting attractions in Zurich, the tour can be extended from half a day to a full day.
