Cala Galdana Beach in Menorca

Cala Galdana is the most visitor-friendly cove on the south coast. Here you will find two of the island's major hotels, several restaurants, bars, supermarkets and even places to buy take-away food and spend a day on the beach.

It's not exactly the most beautiful cove because of all the infrastructure, but some of Menorca's boat trips pass through here as well, so everything you can imagine needing on your holiday can be found in Cala Galdana.

By car

Cala Galdana is only 20 minutes by car from Ciudadela and 34 minutes by car from Mahón. This strategic location makes it a key centre for all kinds of tourist services on the island. The roads are in perfect condition, comfortable and well signposted.

If you plan to arrive by car, it is best to arrive early in the morning, but if you arrive by bus or are staying close enough, any time is a good time to get to Cala Galdana. Moreover, the beach is very well prepared for both adults and children, so if you have a space to spare at any time of the day, Cala Galdana is a good option.
