But Café Teatro Pay-Pay is not the only option, there are multiple tablaos with the same concept in the centre of Cádiz where you can go just to enjoy the different performances of masters of guitar, dance and cante jondo. Santiago, San Miguel and San Mateo are some of the most flamenco neighbourhoods that you can find in this town, and they are located precisely in the centre of Jerez. The charming thing about these localities is that in every patio of every house, it is possible to see a corner dedicated to flamenco.

If you are looking for a true experience of traditional flamenco, away from the tablaos and with the purest feeling, just walk through the streets of these neighbourhoods of Jerez de la Frontera.

Camarón de la Isla and Paco de Lucía are an important part of the Spanish flamenco history, that's why in Cádiz they pay tribute to both figures in a very special way. You can follow the route in homage to Camarón de la Isla, which will inevitably meet the route in homage to Paco de Lucía.

The route starts at the birthplace of Camarón de la Isla, in the town of San Fernando, passing through the Venta de Vargas, a very special place for this musician because it was there that he began to be known as a famous singer of this type of music as a child.
