This museum of modern and contemporary art, hence its acronym, belongs to Kim and Lionel Logchies, a Dutch couple of collectors who have already opened a branch of Moco in Amsterdam. The museum is housed in a former 18th century Gothic palace and houses all kinds of 20th and 21st century works. A very interesting mix of history and modernity.

Its collection includes works by such renowned artists as Andy Warhol, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Banksy and Salvador Dalí. The price of tickets to the Moco Museum in Barcelona may vary depending on the dates and time slot. But these are the basic prices for the museum:

The museum is open every day of the year except on public holidays. You can visit every day of the week at the following times:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 to 20:00.
• Saturday to Sunday: 9:00 to 22:00.

Remember that visits are by time slot and you will have to book the visit at a specific time, with about 15 minutes to arrive from the agreed time. If you arrive after this time, there is no guarantee that you will be able to enter the museum. Remember that tickets are sold at the ticket office until one hour before closing time.
