Step by Step

This tour to the Korean Demilitarised Zone from Seoul will be the perfect opportunity to get up close to one of the most historic places in the only way it is possible, with an expert local guide. It is impossible to visit the DMZ without a guide, so this is a very convenient option.

The half-day tour will start with a convenient pick-up service from your hotel, where you will be dropped off again at the end of the tour. You will travel to Imjingak Park, where you will see the Freedom Bridge and an old steam train that perfectly reflects the image of the Korean War in the area.

There will also be time to visit the Third Tunnel, which the North Korean army built to infiltrate South Korea. You will have the opportunity to walk through it for approximately 500 metres. You will wear a safety helmet as part of the tour. This is not a compulsory activity. If you have vertigo or don't feel like it, you can wait outside until the other travellers finish the activity.

At the Demilitarised Zone Exhibition Hall, you can get a close-up look at old weapons from the war and learn more about Korean history. At Mount Dora, you will enjoy breathtaking views of North Korea from the observatory. You can even make use of one of the telescopes there.

The beautiful scenery and the human warmth of the Koreans belie that there were very painful experiences there. Very good and respectful service
