In addition, the entrance to the castle is early entry, which means that you will enter before it opens to the general public.
This allows you to tour the 12 rooms inside without being disturbed by other people and without hearing the noise of the hustle and bustle. Chapultepec was the place where the ancient Aztec rulers resided. Because of this, you will learn about their culture and history.
As you walk through the halls you will see real Aztec artefacts as you learn about them from your guide. Throughout history the castle has served several functions that you will learn about during your visit. Today it is used as a museum, although not so long ago it was theresidence of the presidents of Mexico.
Another of the entrances included is the Museum of Anthropology, which your tour guide will also accompany you on your visit. Inside you will marvel at its numerous rooms that house the largest collection of Mexican art. Its most important work, which you will be able to see, is the Aztec Sun Stone, also known as the Aztec Calendar.
