Discover the highlights of Mérida, the capital of the Mexican state of Yucatán. With this bus tour, which lasts about two hours, the city will hold no secrets for you.
From inside the vehicle you will be able to see monuments such as the Government Palace. This is an elegant government building built in the 1890s. This classicist style construction houses some elements of Mexican art and history, as well as the Governor's office, the General Secretariat of the Government, the General Government Office and the Legal and Press Departments.
You will also pass by Paseo de Montejo, one of the main streets of the city of Merida. It is an avenue that stretches from the Santa Ana neighbourhood in the city centre to the exit to the port of Progreso.
Besides, among other places, you will visit the Monumento a la Patria (Monument to the Homeland). It is a stone construction erected in the middle of the 20th century to honour the Mexican homeland. It was sculpted entirely by hand by the Colombian sculptor Rómulo Rozo.
