Best Things To Do in Montego Bay

Sunset in Montego Bay | traveljunction

After the transfer from Montego Bay Airport you'll realise you've arrived in a tropical Caribbean paradise.

Jamaica's second largest city is a major cruise port that you can tour by jeep or bike. You can also hike to waterfalls, go rafting on bamboo rafts or visit James Bond's secret caves. Here's a list of 16 things to see and do in Montego Bay that are a must on your travel itinerary. Here we go!

1. Cycle through Jamaica's Blue Mountains

The Blue Mountains are home to Jamaica's highest peak at 2256 metres. From this point, the panoramic views of the island's north and south coasts are a sight to behold, and to reach it, you'll cross coffee plantations and traverse several tropical trails. It's a hiker's dream.

The visit can be done on foot, or by joining the most popular activity in the area: bike rides. You can do it on your own or if you wish to share the experience with local experts by booking the Blue Mountains bike tour.

Among the Montego Bay city tours this is one activity that pleasantly surprises participants. The guides take the time to relax, swim in the pools, see the waterfalls, eat tropical fruits, and often even lunch and brunch near a local farm. It is usually between 10 - 12 hours of sensations. Another perfect activity to share with a group.
