On the banks of the Tiber River is the Castel Sant'Angelo, near the Vatican City. Thanks to this ticket you will be able to access it without waiting in line at the ticket office.

This castle began as a mausoleum for Emperor Hadrian in the 2nd century AD, whose tomb is still inside. However, during the Middle Ages it formed part of the Roman walls and has remained a castle ever since.

In addition to all the history that surrounds the building itself, there are also many rooms inside that contain a multitude of stories. Some of the most remarkable ones are the Sala Paolina, a luxurious room covered with intricate frescoes, or the Court of Executions, where many heretics, such as the famous Giordano Bruno, were ordered executed during the Roman Inquisition.

After admiring all the paintings, murals and sculptures in its corridors, you can go up to the roof and enjoy the incredible views.
