Step by Step

Discover one of the most beautiful and significant areas of the Judeo-Christian tradition on this guided tour of Galilee and Nazareth. The duration of the activity is around 13 hours, during which you will be accompanied by an expert guide, from whom you will learn about the culture, history and architecture of the monuments you will visit.

The tour will begin with a stop at the Sea of Galilee, Israel's largest freshwater lake, which is also the source of the holy Jordan River. Enjoy panoramic views of the lake and surrounding valley as you make your way to the Church of the Multiplication, where Jesus is believed to have performed the miracle of multiplying the loaves and fishes. Afterwards, continue to Capernaum, home of the Apostles and site of many important biblical stories, at the foot of the Mount of Beatitudes.

You will then head to Nazareth, the largest Arab city in Israel, and visit the Basilica of the Annunciation, the most impressive church in the Christian region. The church was built on the site where the Archangel Gabriel is believed to have appeared to the Virgin Mary and announced that she would give birth to the Son of God.

In Nazareth, you will enjoy the special atmosphere of the city, with its distinctive Middle Eastern flavour and charming old town. You will also stop at the Wedding Church of Cana, known as the place where Jesus performed his first miracle of turning water into wine.

At the end of the tour, you will return to Jerusalem, to the original starting point, as this is a round-trip tour. This is a unique experience, full of culture, history and incredible landscapes, which takes you to the main sacred places where the most important biblical stories take place.
